House Rules

HOA Rules:
Exterior lights off by 1am (or we get fined)
Quiet time outdoors 10pm-8am
Pick up after pet-There will be an additional $50 charge if we find dog waste in the yard after your stay.

There is no smoking or vaping of any kind in the home, or on decks/patios of the home. There will be a $150 fine + any extra cleaning fees if we find any evidence of smoking in the home, or cigarette butts on the property.

The space
The Getaway Place is conveniently located in the heart of the Galena Territory. Less than a 5 minute drive to multiple golf courses, walking trails & the Owner's Club-where you'll have full access to the indoor/outdoor pools, gym, arcade and more.

It's a 10 minute drive to downtown Galena, and 20 minutes to Chestnut Mountain Ski Resort.

The Getaway Place is a great place to come experience a carefree, fun weekend with friends and family. We designed the upstairs with you in mind-a shuffleboard table, and 3 arcade games, including Pac-Man. We also have a large, whirlpool bathtub + smart tv where you can relax, unwind & watch your favorite show at the same time. We also have a closet full of games, a pack & play, air mattress & a futon that pulls out into a double bed.

We provide our guests with high speed wifi, and a dedicated work space, for those who need to work remotely while visiting Galena.

Every bedroom has a smart tv. Our outdoor space is a great place to gather-it includes a hot tub, screened in dining area, and a fire pit. (The hot tub was recently repaired in August & is working great!)

We are pet friendly as well and provide a blanket for dogs & food dishes. ($30 pet fee per night per pet)

For the safety of guests & owners, this house has 1 Ring Doorbell Camera with Audio. It is located at the Front door of the house where guests check in.
